Westmalle Dubbel 100th Anniversary

First brewed in its current form in 1926, Westmalle Dubbel has become one of the defining examples of the Belgian Dubbel style. This commemorative 75cl release celebrates 100 years of a beer that has become synonymous with Westmalle and the Trappist brewing tradition.

At 7% ABV, Westmalle Dubbel is dark red-brown with a generous, creamy head and a rich yet beautifully balanced flavour. Caramel and malt are joined by fruity esters reminiscent of ripe banana, while secondary fermentation in the bottle adds further depth and complexity. A soft mouthfeel gives way to the characteristic long, dry finish.
