Lager w/ Fresh Hop Challenger

The next green hop release as part of our Harvest festival is another collaboration with Hukin Hops, a fifth-generation family hop farm based in the Weald of Kent. Hukins shipped fresh Challenger hops to us overnight, ensuring they were in peak condition for the brew the following morning.

We used them in the boil and whirlpool for this lager and get plenty of florality and cedar notes, subtle green tea and a touch of earthiness from them. The beer finishes dry, crisp and with a smooth, balanced bitterness that drives refreshment down to the last drop.
