Simple Things Fermentations Rauchbier

Our Rauchbier is a dark lager filled with huge smoke-filled character derived from a blend of quality German malts. Dark mahogany with a creamy off-white head and an immediate full-on bonfire-bacon aroma that quickly starts to reveal layers of vanilla, raspberry, coffee, toffee, maple syrup and chocolate.

There’s a lot going on and different characteristics come to the fore with every sip, but it’s a refreshingly light and easy drinking beer; the smokiness gently subsiding as the layers are peeled away, leading to a smooth, sweet finish.
