Pomona Island If Only I Had a Heart 2019

This is one of three releases of barrel-aged Imperial Russian Stout. One brew, split into three different casks and left to develop and absorb the character and flavour embedded in the wood. This one has been resting in a Caol Ila 2012 hogshead courtesy of Chorlton Whisky. This is our second Caol Ila vintage, it retains that strong hit of peat, that's balanced with sweet syrupy notes. A decadent, powerful beer that will develop over time, but is excellent to drink right now.
