Klosterbraü Bamberger Rauchbier

Kloster Bamberg has been brewing in this famous beer region for more than 480 years in the tradition of the Prince Bishop's Brown Beer House. Deep black and with a beige-coloured, imposing foam, this original Franconian cult beer has a distinct aroma of smoke and behind it a balanced, fruity hops note from the finest Hallertau aroma hops. The smoky taste is created by the use of beech wood during the drying of the malt. On the palate, the velvety taste of liquorice, smoked ham, dark chocolate and roasted caramel nuances are lovingly combined. A real specialty for connoisseurs and lovers of this original type of beer.
