Keiler Kellerbier

Kellerbier is a traditional, unfiltered, and unpasteurized German lager originating from Franconia in central Bavaria. The name "Kellerbier" translates to "cellar beer," reflecting its historical conditioning in cool cellars or caves, which allowed for a stable temperature during maturation.

This style of beer is characterized by its cloudy appearance, known as naturtrüb, due to the presence of suspended yeast. Kellerbiers are often served fresh in beer gardens, typically in earthenware mugs or steins, and are popular during the summer months.
