Keesmann Herren Pils

This is perhaps the most beloved of all Franconian Pils, and it’s surely the favourite of the people from Bamberg. It’s a gorgeous-looking beer and very well-balanced. The scent has some bread, and while there’s plenty of malt backbone, this is generally a dry fruity beer with plenty of bitterness in the finish.

It’s one of the best session beers in town, too. You’ll find tons of locals doing just that in the atmospheric old pub or in the bustling courtyard.
