Ideal Day say “The coolship is doing wonderful things, or maybe the stout is, or we are, it’s hard to tell. This is our third beer using our homemade coolship, and there’s a correlation forming between the beers. An underlying, fruit-forward note, hard to define that keeps cropping up.

We use historic British brewing techniques, and heritage floor-malted barley, raw regenerative YQ wheat and single farm UK hops. There is a smooth, gentle roast, caramelised fig jam sweetness, biscuity moreishness and underneath all that ethereal fruity character that we think comes from whatever magic is occurring in the coolship.”.
