Hanssens Oudbeitje

Hanssens Oudbeitje is currently the only commercially available, non-back sweetened strawberry lambic on the market. It was first blended in 2000 with a blend of Boon and Girardin lambic. In May of 2000, 150 kg of Belgian strawberries were added to every 600-litre barrel of two-year-old lambic. Oudbeitje was first bottled in March 2001 and continues to be a regular presence in the Hanssens lineup.
