Deya (x Boxcar) Crocodile Queen

Crocodile Queen 11% is a Barley Wine brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Boxcar Brewing Co. in 2021. This barley wine was brewed with Chevalier malt and flaked barley and hopped with low aroma UK hops, to give it just enough bitterness for closure.

After fermentation, it was aged in an Amarone barrel for 18 months before packaging (Amarone is a type of heavy Italian red wine). The barrel ageing provides lots of vanilla and creamy oak flavours. Rich, decadent, and unapologetically big.
