Deya NZ Pils Riwaka

Quite the departure from our standard process on this one! We brewed one batch of wort using German noble hops and a clean light malt base then split the brew into two fermenters. One destined to become NZ Pils Riwaka, and the other NZ Pils Nelson.

We then pitched a lager yeast that has strong bio transformation potential. We added the dry hops in 2 stages during active fermentation to help squeeze as much hop character into the beer as possible. A side by side like this in the backdrop of a lager fermentation is a very exciting opportunity to highlight how these two amazing hop varieties can manifest.
