Belgian Classics Gift Selection

Our Belgian Classics Gift Selection contains six beers that exemplify the country's brewing tradition over a wide range of styles and flavours.

Included in the selection:

Saison Dupont · 6.5% ABV

Saisons are almost like the pale ales of Belgium, but featuring more complex flavours driven from the yeasty esters in the beer rather than the hops. Saison Dupont is the benchmark of the style.

Rochefort Trappist 8 · 9.2% ABV

A Belgian Dubbel, which is a dark Belgian style of beer with raisins, plums, dates and caramel flavours. This is also the first of the two Trappist beers in the selection, which are traditionally brewed under the supervision of monks.

Orval · 6.2% ABV

A permanent fixture here at Beermoth. A historic Trappist pale ale dry-hopped and refermented with Brettanomyces, yielding a complex, rustic depth. Unmistakably bitter, bone-dry, and incredibly drinkable.

Duchesse de Bourgogne · 6.2% ABV

An excellent introductory sour beer, Duchesse de Bourgogne is a Flanders Red style, which has notes of balsamic vinegar and stone fruits like cherries. Many people find the flavour like strawberry laces!

Westmalle Trappist Extra · 4.8% ABV
The table beer served to the monks and their guests. Brewed with water, barley malt and hop cones.

De la Senne Taras Boulba · 4.5% ABV
Taras Boulba is the perfect session beer - loaded with complex yeast flavours, hopped to perfection, and as drinkable as any beer you’ve ever tried.
