Balance (x BarthHaas) Spectral Diffusion

Fusing traditional styles and techniques with modern brewing advances is something that excites us at Balance. For this beer, we worked with BarthHaas to utilise Spectrum, a liquid hop extract, which we used to dry hop a blend of barrel-aged saisons. 

We got our hands on Ernest and Fuggle in Spectrum form, two British hops that work wonderfully in our beers. There's a tropical punch of flavour: mango, pineapple and pomello carried on a base of subtly bready malt and the pithy bitterness of pine pollen.
