Balance Birthday Blend '25

For our fifth birthday in June 2025, we welcomed a lovely bunch of folk to the taproom to create our second annual Birthday Blend. We introduced everyone to our processes, methods and ingredients before handing over creative control and leaving the blending in the group's capable hands.

This blend, created by everyone who came to the blending session on our birthday weekend in June 2025, is a complex amalgamation of five barrels which used a high proportion of amber saison. This has brought nuanced layers of complexity comprising subtle golden syrup and bready malt as a counterpoint to the acidity and funky aged hop character and earthy minerality. It finishes with orange pith, soft bitterness and fruity funk.
