The Kernel (x Newbarns) India Pale Ale Multigrain

Emma and Gordon left The Kernel a year ago to set up their own brewery, Newbarns, in Leith. Kernel wanted to celebrate with them by brewing a beer together, and the result is this IPA brewed with barley, spelt, rice and maize. The latter two ingredients are there to help leave the beer dry and crisp.  Spelt rounds out the body.  Hops used - Galaxy all the way through. Comes across as super citrus - grapefruit/orange, from the aroma through the flavour to the pithy bitter finish.
