De la Senne La Verguenza sur Senne

With this beer we're taking a journey from the United States to Italy, but with a detour through Brussels! It's a heavily hopped American-style Double IPA, developed by our Italian friends, but fermented in Brussels with our house yeast, and refermented in bottles and in kegs afterwards.

Amber-coloured and slightly hazy, due to the massive dry-hopping. In the nose, it's exactly what you'd expect: a fruit explosion! Tropical fruits, including plenty of mango, but also orange, grapefruit, melon and peach, mingled with equally tropical floral notes. It also develops a slight resinous side reminiscent of pine needles. The biscuity-malty aroma and the powerful bitterness give it structure and balance, making it a real beer of character.
